WELCOME to the website of CORNERSTONE a Christian worshipping community reflecting the traditions of the Methodist and United Reformed Churches.  Our church building is set in the heart of the East Sussex town of Uckfield.

We meet, for worship, each Sunday, at 10:30am and at other times for prayer, to study God's word (The Bible) and to share social activities. We are glad to welcome people of all ages and backgrounds.

Please also take time to visit our new Facebook page. We try to keep this up to date with the latest news and announcements.

CORNERSTONE was established in May 2017 following several months of preparation and arrangements.  We were formed when Uckfield Methodist Church and Uckfield United Reformed Church officially joined to create one Christian Church

We normally celebrate Holy Communion (The Lord's Supper) once each month. Full details of our services and other activities can be found on our News page.  You can also download our bi-monthly magazine from the news page with details of all activities that take place on the church premises.

Our Minister: Rev Amanda Roper

Our minister is responsible for three churches including Crowborough United Church, Buxted Methodist Church and Cornerstone. She generally leads our worship twice each month.

On other Sundays our worship is led by a variety of visiting ministers, lay preachers and members of the church.

Our worship includes hymns and songs, readings from the Bible, prayers and a talk (sermon or message).
